Hey all, I know I'm going to receive a lot of heat for posting this message on an Interview Feedback site but I'd be so thankful if you could humor me. I'm debating whether or not to attend UVa Med this fall. So I've decided to ask you all, who probably know a fair share about the school. Your insights would be more than appreciated. At my interview, the school was incredible, the curriculum seems wonderful and not competitive, the faculty are devoted, and "I hear" the students are VERY happy. However... I'm uncertain about C'ville. My high school was and my college is in the middle of a large city and I'm pretty much accustomed to urban life but don't mind a change of scence. How hard is the adjustment? Is it worth it? What else can you tell me about the school? Why are the students so happy? Are the 3rd and 4th yr. rotations out to southern and eastern VA worth it? I'm also looking at schools in DC and NYC like G'Town, GW, Mt. Sinai, etc.. Could you offer me any advice about how UVa differs (good and bad) from these schools? I've lost many nights of sleep over this decision so I would be eternally grateful for any input. Thanks a lot.
