Hey all,
I know I'm going to receive a lot of heat for posting this message on an Interview Feedback site but I'd be so thankful if you could humor me.
I'm debating whether or not to attend UVa Med this fall. So I've decided to ask you all, who probably know a fair share about the school. Your insights would be more than appreciated.
At my interview, the school was incredible, the curriculum seems wonderful and not competitive, the faculty are devoted, and "I hear" the students are VERY happy. However... I'm uncertain about C'ville. My high school was and my college is in the middle of a large city and I'm pretty much accustomed to urban life but don't mind a change of scence.
How hard is the adjustment? Is it worth it? What else can you tell me about the school? Why are the students so happy? Are the 3rd and 4th yr. rotations out to southern and eastern VA worth it?
I'm also looking at schools in DC and NYC like G'Town, GW, Mt. Sinai, etc.. Could you offer me any advice about how UVa differs (good and bad) from these schools?
I've lost many nights of sleep over this decision so I would be eternally grateful for any input. Thanks a lot.

Hey,
I am at UVA right now, and am actually typing from on grounds. You would be crazy not to come to this great school. Its the best school Ive every been to. There are so many reasons why the students are really happy and I cant list them all in this short time. Charlottesville was rated the #1 place to live in the US this year, so dont worry at all about the place. I grew up in Northern Virginia, and was thinking about GTown and GWU as well, but hands down UVA is the place to be. I hope you make the decision to become a Wahoo and maybe we can run into each other when your here.
